Bought a moustache grooming set when I was overseas (needed the scissors to cut waterproof sports-tape for my cast)

NYC Winter Photoset 3
Took a turn inside Google NYC with CSE’ers. Jukebox The Ghost exhibited their flawlessness at Irving Plaza, but Jack’s Mannequinn struck me as rather generic; first time I’ve been to a concert just to see the supporting act and left when the main act started. MSG went off as NY Knicks took on LA Lakers. Jeremy Lin outscores Kobe Bryant and the Knicks continue their winning streak. The Rock sat court-side and the crowd’s reception was as enthusiastic as that for Lin.

NYC Winter Photoset 2
Mainly hung around SoHo for most of the trip, but took the time to step out of the shadows of the concrete jungle that is Manhattan to head over to Brooklyn for brunch and to soak up some sun.

Peek of the Hudson River from my hotel window on the UWS. Central Park bathed in sunlight makes me happy. A couple of Lichtensteins on display at the Guggenheim were a nice surprise.

Battlestar Galactica Exhibition at the EMP Museum in Seattle.
The exhibition itself was pretty small and didn’t really offer much to die-hard fans, other than a great feeling of nostalgia and an urge to re-watch the entire series again. But it made someone, who’d never ever seen an episode, want to start watching the series. So I think it wins on that front.
The Avatar exhibition was much more extensive in terms of design and production materials on display, but I haven’t seen the movie and I don’t really care to.
The Sound Lab they have going is pretty awesome. Wanted to play around on the keyboards but my broken wrist cock-blocked me.

Whistler: awesome snowfall, awesome instructors, awesome company.
All around awesomeness.
Also got 20% off of dinner because we were wearing our Canucks jerseys and the Canucks won their game tonight. Winning :)
Edit: Broke my wrist after landing on ice - final run of the final day, 10 seconds from the gondola down. Would totally go back again though. Whistler Snowboard School instructors were totally ace: Julian (AUS), Minnie (AUS) and Luke (POL)

First time camping in about 10yrs. Traversed leech country and tailed Mr. Goanna until he decided to get off the trail. Also came across a brown snake (or was it a Brown Snake?)
